LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • K: The requirements for each of the briefs set by OCR.
  • U: How to approach the chosen brief, including writing the statement of intent.
  • BAT: Choose a brief and start planning what to write in the statement of intent.
  • CO: Use media terminology (all areas of the theoretical framework) in your written and verbal communication.

TASK 4 - Read through the brief and select ONE... write a short paragraph as why you chose it.  Make sure you include the following information in your explanation as well:

- What skills do you intend to develop whilst working on your media texts?

I am going t try to create the first brief which is a front cover for a magazine and a double spread page article that is targeting teenagers with the ages between 14 and 18 years old. The reason of why I am choosing this brief is because i have used photoshop before and I want to try it again. Also by doing this I can furthermore improve my photoshopping skills as I go.

Task 3 - Go to www.surveymonkey.com, create a FREE account and create a 10-question questionnaire asking people what they like and dislike about media products of your chosen brief.  For example:

Brief: Music Magazine.
1 - What is your age? (you MUST include this question in your questionnaire).
